Job Description
An exciting new opportunity has arisen within our clients manufacturing unit for a Shift Manufacturing Manager.
Working alongside a strong and talented team, the successful applicant will be responsible for managing a production unit, whilst implementing technical and process improvements.
The main duties and responsibilities of the role will be to lead a manufacturing team to achieve production targets, quality improvements and diagnosis and analysis of technical issues, whilst gaining a unique insight into the product range and our manufacturing processes.
You will also be required to identify training opportunities and use your skills to develop employees.
Skills and Qualities
In order to be successful in this position, the candidate must have 5 years experience in a Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering discipline and must have a good broad understanding of manufacturing processes. Good IT skills are necessary and the candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communicational skills.
